    Description

You may be saying, WOW thats expensive for an old high mileage (272,000 miles) Class B RV! But This is a Roadtrek! I have it priced according to what the market is plus I adjusted for the quirks it has.
    The Good:
This is a 1992 Roadtrek Independent.  Its ugly! Yes it needs a paint job! Please don't let that discourage you. But yes it needs paint work!  As far as camping; this thing is ready to go! I just came back from the coast and it ran very well. Generator works like a champ but it needs to be manually choked the first cold start of the day; after that it turns on with the press of a switch.  Water system works like a champ. Propane system works great. Inverter works. Shower works, toilet works. Fridge works, Microwave works, stove works. New coach water pump. New coach air conditioner. Working DVD TV.
Dodge: Has a new fuel pump, water pump, and alternator. I've driven this Roadtrek to Alabama, California and everywhere in between.  New tires less than 3 years old. New rims about a year old.
    The Bad:
Now of course, common sense will have to suggest this is no perfect RV. First, It has a steering issue where if you drive in high winds, it feels a little weird. This was common for 1990's Dodge B350 vans. I just got used to it and never had it looked at. Second, sometimes it has a little miss in the engine. Once you ease it onto the highway, it runs like a champ.
Third, the dash AC was working well until we had that big freeze here in Texas early this year. Ever since that freeze, the front AC has not worked. The grey water dump pull valve has a small seepage. Its just grey water so it never bothered me. the black water pull valve doesn't leak. The water heater works but the auto shut-off does not operate correctly. I always set my iphone for 15 minutes alarm once I turn on the water heater, and when it goes off, I turn off the heater.
Any RV of this age and use will have its number of quirks and tricks. It has high mileage but will come with previous owner receipts showing a replaced transmission and rebuilt engine. Once you know the tricks and quirks, this is a fun camping vehicle! I can take this RT cross country with no problems whatsoever because I already know the quirks.
